I am disappointed that LMG is reviewing vaporware - seriously guys, where is your credibility? Why even bother doing a review on something that was sent to you that your audience cannot purchase? Acer list the product on their website yet don't include a purchase link or buying info - that should have been a dead giveaway to refuse to review the product. For $9000 and no customization options, don't you think people will be taking their money elsewhere? It's clear if they are only making a limited number then they are using customers as quality control to work out any design and build problems. A company that pitches a product that you cannot buy is a product that has already failed.Ĥ. No follow-up, dead email addresses and poor communication - hardly the impression a reputable company should be showing.ģ.
Their sales people are pathetic based on my experience attempting to work with them. They are about the worst laptop manufacturer out there - remember this is the company that acquired Gateway, another junk laptop manufacturer.Ģ. if you want just a laptop to browse the web then this is not for you.1. its expensive, yes, but you get an awesome gaming laptop that can do anything you need it to (besides being a portable netbook). I love this computer and use it more than my other 3 combined.
this thing has all the best of the best and with that comes a great cooling system that you can even customize with the predat or sense software that comes pre-installed. I read another review on here that he says it overheats and i want to dispel that dumb rumor quickly. I have traveled with it several times and its a pretty sweet and easy set up when you get to where you want to set up shop but the in between of carrying the full case is tiring even with the wheels. while the case is awesome, sturdy, and makes transporting the computer easier, it is very heavy when transporting all the extras as well.
